Keeping Warm

A place I would really like to go this time of year is Strasbourg. It is know for its Christmas Markets, of which there are many, over the next few days.
It is quite cold now and might even be snowing, perfect weather for a winter vacation.

Audio guides make it possible to visit the town at your own pace, and at any time of day! You can enjoy your visit "all in one go" or break it up into segments, stopping off at a cafe terrace before continuing. I like that idea.

Strasbourg Cathedral

Strasbourg Cathedral de Notre-Dame is known as one of the most beautiful gothic cathedrals in Europe.

The first version of the church started being built during the year 1015 by proposal of Bishop Werner von Habsburg, but fire destroyed most of the original Romanesque building. By the time that cathedral was being renovated (at the end of the 12th century, this time with red stones carried from the nearby mountains of Vosges), the gothic architectural style has reached Alsace and the future cathedral was starting to develop all characteristics of gothic aesthetics.

The weather is cold so be sure and bring your warmest clothing.

Cutest fingerless gloves ever
Cutest Tartan Blazer

VINCE hooded coat with shearling lining

UGG tall boots

Now you will be ready to go to Strasbourg or if not there maybe Aspen or Deer Valley.  Wherever you will be in the cold climate I hope you have a wonderful time.

A Bientôt.........
